PEARL HARBOR DAY

PEARL HARBOR DAY

PEARL HARBOR DAY

7:48 am Hawaiian time (18:18 GMT), December 7th, 1941, ... 2,403 citizens of the United States killed via an attack from the Empire of Japanese, as it was called then, by way of her Imperial Japanese Navy and Air Service. The rest is history. Our history is rich with stains of our past.

Today, we honor heroes of our past. Congress designated this day, for each year as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day (also: Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day or Pearl Harbor Day), in 1994.

If you fly a flag, our American flag should be at half-staff until sunset. We honor our deceased of the surprise attack on that beautiful Hawaiian day.

Although December 7 is an important day of remembrance, it is not a federal holiday.

My father, in heaven now with all the others who have passed on, was a proud member of our Air Force. God bless our past, present, and future soldiers. … I miss you Papa ….

When you VOTE, know JERON took the TIME to UNDERSTAND you.
